On the last Saturday in September, Old Town Orcutt comes alive with chalk art masterpieces, live music, public art, and vibrant community engagement. Since 2011, the OCAF Chalk Festival has been a beloved event, drawing over 2,000 visitors to Historic Old Town Orcutt.
The festival features more than two dozen arts and crafts booths, nonprofit organizations, a kids' corner, and food vendors. Discover a stunning array of locally crafted art, jewelry, and woodworking. Satisfy your appetite by supporting our local food trucks, offering a variety of delicious options.
The event's main attraction is the sidewalk and street chalk paintings created throughout the day. Thanks to our generous sponsors and talented volunteer artists, these chalk squares transform from gray concrete into beautiful works of art. Artists begin early in the morning, and the public is invited to watch their progress throughout the day.
We are seeking the best local food trucks! If you're interested in participating, please fill out this application.
